Hudson Lambert Parrott is pleased to announce a significant legal victory in a sharply contested public procurement dispute. Attorneys Greg Placone and Nick Nybo successfully achieved reinstatement of a government contract award on behalf of a general contractor based in Tennessee.
Bid protests in public contracting are known for their compressed timelines and extraordinarily low success rates. Despite these challenges, Greg Placone and Nick Nybo pursued the protest with strategic precision and deep command of the complex procurement rules governing the process.
After our client won the initial contract award, an aggrieved bidder filed a successful bid protest. Our attorneys acted swiftly, filing a detailed and cogent appeal, while facing challenging timing issues as the filing deadline overlapped with the Thanksgiving holidays. This week, the reviewing authority in South Carolina issued its final decision reversing the bid protest and reinstating the original contract award to our client.
“This outcome is exceptionally rare,” said Partners Brad Parrott and Ward Lambert. Their work exemplifies the caliber of representation HLP strives to provide in every highstakes matter.
The firm congratulates Greg Placone and Nick Nybo on this outstanding accomplishment and looks forward to supporting our client as they move ahead with the project.
