HLP's Dakota Atuan Appointed as YLD Liaison to ABA Forum on Construction Law for 2025–2026

Hudson Lambert Parrott, LLC congratulates Dakota (Knehans) Atuan, who will become the Young Lawyer Division Liaison to the ABA Forum on Construction Law for the 2025/2026 Bar Year.

As Young Lawyer Division Liaison to the ABA Forum on Construction Law, Dakota will bridge the gap between the young lawyers within ABA and the forum on Construction Law allowing the YLD to know what is happening in the forum while simultaneously allowing the forum to know what is happening in the rest of the ABA. She is also responsible for working with law students and the Forum’s Law Student Liaison to increase awareness regarding construction law as a practice area for law students.

At HLP, Dakota is an associate in the Construction Law Department. Her practice includes representation of owners, general contractors, and subcontractors with issues as varied as materialman’s liens, construction defects, development disputes, and general business disputes.
